Overview

Our supplier struggled to speed up their business process because the majority of their operations were carried out manually, and as a result, their productivity was slow.

Business Challenge

Prior to this, our supplier-customer publish catalogs as spreadsheets, and their business partners could only manually add, update, and delete products using spreadsheets. In addition, orders were only accepted via phone or email, and inventory could only be published once per day, leading to out-of-stock orders. Clients could only obtain delivery tracking information on demand.

The Solution

We set up PromoStandards endpoints for them to exchange catalogs and live inventory with their business partners. They could use the PromoLink cloud extension to adjust inventory, product data, and pricing before serving business partners. Non-API clients of our supplier can now enter orders into an Order Portal, enter them into their ERP system, and simply track their orders. They can share product data with DC One Source, SAGE, and ASI via PromoStandards endpoints.
